About the B&J Cycling Team:

The team started in the off season of 2005 as a group of 14 local mixed category racers with over 30 years of experience. As the 2006 season progressed, "the team" became a bigger, more organized group making an impression in the Florida amateur racing world. Eventually, the team became known as the team to beat in Florida. Although most of the wins were in the Category 3 races, and 2 Category 2 riders, as a grassroots team with new sponsors, riders and management, it’s safe to say that the results were excellent.

Finishing 1st in the Florida Point Series for Cat 3 and the top 15 in the Pro 1, 2, category was a good result.

Fortunately in 2007, the team has received major support from Orbea-USA, Giro, Giordana, Bontrager, and Sockguy, as well as financial support from many local sponsors. This will enable the team to compete in the Pro 1, 2 category with an 8 man squad in addition to supporting junior development.

We look forward to racing in selected stage races and UCI events for 2007. Our goals are to continue to grow and promote our sponsors as well as remain a top competitor in the Elite amateur classification.
